Though James is the newest to the industry by Soundworks standards, his passion, curiosity, and fast-learning mindset have quickly made him an invaluable part of the team. He officially began his career in mobile electronics in 2018, but his hands-on background spans a wide range of trades – from landscaping and home waterproofing to cooking, customer service, and managing a retail store. Before joining Soundworks, James spent five years at another audio and tint shop, where he built a solid foundation in the industry.
James thrives on learning new skills and constantly pushing himself to improve. His favorite projects involve designing and building audio systems that both sound and look incredible – and he’s especially excited about incorporating 3D printing into his custom builds. His long-term goal is to become the best fabricator he can be, and he’s well on his way.

Outside of work, James enjoys life with his long-term partner, Grace, and their daughter, Wren. When he’s not embracing the adventure of new fatherhood, he’s often found tinkering with his car or four-wheeler, building custom PCs, repairing electronics, gaming, or exploring new ideas in 3D design. One day, he dreams of retiring to the mountains with a spacious home workshop – where he can keep creating, building, and spending quality time with his family.
